Unkle Bob is a band based in the UK, formed in and around Glasgow University. Led by singer\u002Fsongwriter Rick Webster, Unkle Bob have variously been compared to acts as diverse as R.E.M., Prefab Sprout and Radiohead.\nTheir debut album Sugar & Spite was released on October 16, 2006 on Friendly Sounds \u002F Mother City – a label set up by James guitarist\u002Fviolinist Saul Davies and Aaron Moore (Ministry of Sound\u002FEMI). They released a double single entitled "Satellite\u002FBad Dream" on April 5, 2009.
