Lebohang Mahlatjie known as Lil-Crunk Is a HipHop Artists based in Johannesburg. \n\nInfluenced by Southern “Crunk” music and artists like T.I, Young Jeezy and Lil Jon just to mention a few. Inspired to create music of his own he started to develop his skills writing and rapping his own lyrics. Lil-Crunk’s music can be described as high paced feel good music that is sure to get clubs and parties jumping.\n\nLil-Crunk and two friends formed a group named UKG (Up2 Know Good). The group got onto 5FM and won access to Blackberry’s secret gigs by having the best remixes to songs by KidCudi and Tinie Tempah.\n\nIn 2015 Lil-Crunk left UKG to peruse a solo career. He made the choice to incorporate vernacular and beatboxing to his music to reach a wider South African market. His first single “Get Down” was produced by international producer "Kid Flash", who has worked with labels such as Def Jam, Def Jam Island, Sony, Universal, BMG just to name a few. The single features "999" very own Tumi Tladi and the talented Cata-Lust. \n\nThe song was debuted on 5FM by DJ Fresh during his morning show "Fresh@5" and has been publicly well received. Fast forward to 2016 and see Lil-Crunk has released the Get Down Remix which features 2LeeStark & Razzi Razz and to top off everything both Music videos have been shot by 1 of the best D.O.P in the business Nicky Campos
