The group was formed in 1997 by Marcelo Camelo (vocals\u002Fguitar), Rodrigo Amarante (flute\u002Fguitar\u002Fvocals), Rodrigo Barba (drums), and Bruno Medina (keyboards\u002Fkeyboard bass). Currently they are on an extended hiatus.\r\nAlthough the band is Brazilian, the name is Spanish for "the brothers", which would be "Os Irmãos" in Portuguese.
