Amy is an artist and composer of acoustic solo piano music. Classically trained as a child, she chose to forego \npursuing a career in classical music in favor of the freedom to create her own unique style of solo piano music. \nAfter releasing her first CD entitled First Dance in 1999 and receiving two national songwriting awards from that \nalbum, she went on to release four additional albums. Her music is now heard on internet radio, broadcast radio, \nand cable television music stations worldwide. Amy's music can also be heard on the popular internet radio station, \nWhisperings - Solo Piano Radio, eScapesTV, a HD satellite and cable television network, and on Canadian cable \ntelevision music channels. \nAmy's music has also received a following overseas. In September of 2011 Jingo Records based in Taiwan began \nreleasing Amy's albums into the Asian market, beginning with Winter & Christmas, which was released under the \ntitle Castle in the Snow. Beautiful Quiet was released by Jingo Records in February of 2012. Jingo Records has also \nincluded several songs on other compilation albums. Additional projects include a compilation CD by Aulos Media of \nSeoul, Korea, a private label CD for the Spa Rosseau at The Rosseau, a JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Ontario, \nCanada, and numerous other independent projects worldwide.\nRecent album credits include her 2010 release entitled August, which received a nomination for 2010 Album of the \nYear in the Contemporary and Modern category on SoloPiano.com. August spent five months in the top 20 and seven \nmonths in the top 50 of the new age music charts at Zone Music Reporter's Top 100, reaching number 11 in June of \n2011. August also received the honor of being number 37 in Zone Music Reporter's Top 100 Airplay Chart for new age \nmusic for all of 2011.\nIn July of 2008 Amy released Winter & Christmas, which was selected as Kathy Parsons CD pick of the month for \nNovember 2008 on Mainlypiano.com. Winter & Christmas was nominated for Best Holiday Album at Zone Music \nReporter's 2010 Music Awards, and reached number nine on the new age music charts Top 100 in December of 2010. \nThe song Eve of Winter was in Whisperings top 100 for early 2010, and Midnight Snow was the third most popular track \non Christmas Music 24\u002F7's Jazz\u002FInstrumental internet radio station for Christmas of 2009.\nHer extremely popular original lullaby CD, Close Your Eyes, was released in 2003. Numerous songs off this album consistently ranked in "Whisperings Top 40". The track Drifting Starlight reached number one in October of 2005, A Mother's Prayer was in Whisperings Top 100 for 2008, and Begin to Dream was in Whisperings Top 100 for early 2010. Amy released a follow up lullaby album in November of 2010 entitledBeautiful Quiet - Solo Piano Lullabies, Volume II.\nAmy lives in Wisconsin with her husband, their two Brittanys, Brusco and Koda, and cat Chester, and is currently working on releasing her next album, due out in late 2012 or early 2013.
