Artist Ella Vox age 19, also known by friends and family as Kenna Renteria, daughter of Sam and Dana Renteria, from the age of 3 has had a passion for singing, dancing, and acting. What started out as a hobby “just for fun” way of impersonating artists such as Selena, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Mariah Carey, quickly turned into a lifelong dream of being in the spotlight.\nAt the age of 9 years Kenna made her way into arts such as ballet, tap, jazz, vocal, and acting classes under Director Neil Hess who strongly encouraged her to become the well known term “A triple threat!” and soon guided her way by welcoming her into the cast of Lone Star Rising in her home town of Fritch, Texas. \nSoon after gaining some experience of what it’s like to be center stage, Kenna decided to start recording cover cds in the home of Ernest Key to take home and perfect her craft as an artist and better her abilities to sing by listening to her own recordings and improving herself and her sound. By the age of 12, Kenna had started writing her own songs in her bedroom in a journal given to her as a birthday gift from her older sister Kelsea Renteria creating multiple songs of the life of a teenage girl seeking the life of being a big star.\nAfter 3 years of performing locally in the Texas Panhandle, she decided her dreams needed to be taken elsewhere. Kenna, at the age of 15, decided to leave her single mother and older siblings, and relocated to Dallas, Texas to live with her father. She then took her talent and showcased her voice in sports bars, hotels, and such before performing at the venue Six flags for Holiday In The Park Event, where Kenna was inspired from the crowd and then decided to relocate to her current city San Antonio, Texas where she started working as a writer, back-up vocalist, and solo artist working on her own material. Kenna after years of gaining more stage presence performing in San Antonio at family-friendly tourist attractions such as Historical Market Square, Traders Village, as well as booked gigs at anniversaries, birthdays and such Kenna branched out her abilities not only as an English artist but has also targeted the Spanish market as well by performing cover songs by famous artists for the San Antonio Community. With her earnings “from tip jars and gigs” Kenna paid her way to starting this journey herself with a happy and full heart, and a NEWLY RELEASED SINGLE “BEAUTIFUL” written by Kenna herself, inspired by her adopted 5 year old brother who is in the process of being diagnosed with Autism and everyone with life struggles, reminding them they can overcome anything with the right attitude. She hopes to become a voice for Fritch, Texas as well as San Antonio with hopes to give back to the communities by doing what she can to market her artist name Ella Vox, translated meaning “Her Voice”, her unique rnb\u002Fpop style, as well as her humble ways and making this dream, reality.
