Ben Weber\r\nis an artist and educator who makes participant-centered works with and for audiences of all ages at community sites and public places.\r\n\r\nHis project SMASH TYPE has played at the Staten Island Museum (Elastic City), Governors Island (FIGMENT and Children’s Museum of the Arts), JCC of Manhattan, University of Southern California, and CUNY’s School of Professional Studies.\r\n\r\nHe studied “Theatricality and Taboo” at NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and has a Masters in Applied Theatre from CUNY’s School of Professional Studies.\r\n\r\nBen has served many NYC organizations as a development professional including The Kitchen, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Film Forum. He currently works as the Education Programs Associate at the New Victory Theater where he designs and implements projects for public engagement.
