SLAB were conceived in 2005 by cousins Big Jim Fletcher and Andy 'Kimbo' Kimberley (Bass and drums respectively), and guitarist\u002Fvocalist Jake Cowing. Combining many different styles and influences whilst still trying to focus on good songwriting the 'power-trio' have managed to win fans from both metal\u002Frock and punk\u002Fhardcore audiences. This may be due not only to the ever-changing song styles but also to the hard roadwork the band have put in, earning fans up and down the UK, Ireland and as far afield as Malta.\r\n\r\nWith over 300 gigs played in the bands relatively short history, SLAB are a major force to be reckoned with in the live arena. SLAB released 'Betray the Past.. Infect the future' in 2008 through Meltdown Records to critical and fan acclaim.
