Just when it seemed like all the wow factors in the indie scene were hiding out, Nick Hakim comes out of nowhere.\r\n\r\nThis bluesy singer-songwriter of Chilean and Peruvian descent, currently based in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn via Washington D.C., only has a few tracks out that make quite the impression. There’s a luscious, calming, mysterious quality embedded in his voice that’s inescapable and intoxicating.
