Above Symmetry is a progressive metal band from Norway. They are signed to InsideOut Records and have a record called Ripples which was released on the 25th of January in Europe and the 26th of January in the United States.\nAbove Symmetry were originally called 'Aspera', and initially released the album Ripples under this name. However, in 2010, they were threatened with legal action by another band called Aspera, prompting them to change their name. They re-issued Ripples with the new band name on the cover; and with a red background as opposed to the blue background on the original issue.
