Elise Mélinand is a singer-songwriter, musician & composer from Paris (France), known for her "soft, childlike vocals which provide a stark contrast to the downplayed, relaxed, music that they accompany". Her debut EP, Le Voyage, described as summoning a "true sense of helplessness" and as "short, sad but ultimately sweet" helped mark her place on Europe's growing folk music scene. \nElise, inspired by the electronic music of many of her peers and close friends, starts recording her debut album in March 2013.\nElise also performs with Christina Vantzou at her live performances.
