Stian Pedersen | Vocals\nTrym Nordmo | Vocals\nHenrik Aalberg | Guitars\nThomas Ingebrigtsen | Guitars \nTage Kristoffersen | Bass \nDaniel Pedersen | Drums\nAdjentist is a six-piece progressive metal band from Tromsø, Norway. The band was formed in august 2012, with the intensions to create something new in their home town and maybe even their country. The members of Adjentist derived from several different bands in Tromsø, and one day decided to sit down together and start working on a new and exciting project. Adjentist contains experienced members who have played in bands like Betablok and Madness of Mordi.\nAdjentist used a couple of months creating new songs, new lyrics, new everything. The band quickly experienced how productive and fresh they were working together, and just couldnt stop making tunes and jamming continuously.\nAfter the first shows, they gained new experiences on stage playing together, trying to grasp their new style of playing. With things going well with the 4-piece line up containing Stian (vocals) Henrik (guitars), Tage (bass) and Daniel (drums), they still felt they needed some fresh blood into the mix. With only guitarist, Adjentist didnt get to recreate the sound from the recordings to the stage, so they decided to bring in a second guitarist to help make the sound even more massive.\nAfter a few weeks of scouting, there was just now permanent member to be found. Luckily, Sverre Simonsen (Feskekrok) said yes to be a step-in guitarist, and as predicted, the sound grew a lot more!\nThe chemistry with Sverre was good, and he played a huge part taking on the dutys on rythm guitar, but the band still felt they needed a permanent member to move forward. Adjentist offered Sverre a permanent position, but he had other things the focus on, as well as his main band, Feskekrok. With no hard feeling, they parted ways with Sverre, and again started the look-out for a new permanent guitarist.\nThen, finally something happened. Henrik came to rehearsal presenting that he knew someone who could come in as a permanent guitarist. In with that, Thomas Ingebrigtsen came along. Thomas really made an impact from the first rehearsal, and the atmosphere in the band was perfect. Quickly, Thomas became the permanent second guitarist, and the band started taking shape.\nWith the new 5-piece line-up things went well. Adjentist played a couple of gig where they got good review from the crowd, and they just kept on course. As well of getting to know each other on the stage and on the rehearsal in terms of playing together, the album was the next agenda on the to-do list. Adjentist started recording some pre-production tunes, and the sound was immense.\nBut then, Daniel and Henrik discovered something... A vocalist called Trym Nordmo had gotten a lot of good reviews on his YouTube-covers, and they just had to call him up. When they presented the idea of joining the band for a rehearsal, Trym was stoked to have try-out. Already after the first rehearsal, Trym joined the band as a second vocalist in adition to Stian, and now the line-up was complete.\nOktober 1st 2013 Adjentist released their debut album, REACH FOR THE SKY. The album is available on Spotify, YouTube, iTunes, Bandcamp, etc.\nBig thank you goes out to: \nOur friends and families, Per Kristian Fox Trollvik, Øyvind Owane Pedersen, Herman Rundberg, Jonas Sivertsen, Marius Steinveg, \nSverre Simonsen, Steinar Minde, Sigbjørn Johansen, \nRobert Brekmoe, Christian Cock, Tvibit, Kurt Vidar Solstad \nMagnus Embret Henriksen, Kristian Bjørgve.
