Hailing from Poughkeepsie, NY, emo-rock outfit I Am the Pilot are comprised of bassist Todd Ross, guitarist Sean Donahue, vocalist Chad Gannon, drummer Josh Rapala, and guitarist\u002Fvocalist Justin Kaczmar. Working on building their local fan base, they recorded their debut EP, I am the Pilot Presents: The Mission, with John Naclerio (Brand New, My Chemical Romance) before inking a deal with Broken English Records and hitting the road. Shows with acts like Bayside, Chiodos, and hometown peers Matchbook Romance followed before their full-length Crashing into Consciousness surfaced in the spring of 2007.
