Cornwall, Ontario, Canada\n\nPerformer (piano)\nPianist Louise-Andrée Baril holds a Master’s degree in interpretation from Université de Montréal and pursues an active career both as soloist and chamber musician. Winner of the Matinées symphoniques de Montréal contest, and of the Canadian Music Competition, she now coaches at the Opéra de Montréal and at the Montreal Conservatory of Music, where she is in charge of the opera workshop and teaches accompaniment. Since the beginning of her career, she has performed on many occasions in North and South America and in Europe, and has recorded more than twenty CDs.
