Peter Lehel - saxophone\nUll Möck - piano\nDieter Schumacher - drums\nMini Schulz - bass\nThe German based Peter Lehel Quartet is following the tradition of the great jazz quartets.\nThe band has been playing together for more than 15 years, playing hundreds of concerts all over the world.\nIn the long history of the band there have been played almost 300 compositions and arrangements by Peter Lehel including very different and unique programs like the music from Brazil (Choros e Bossa Nova), Cuba (Boleros), Music for jazz quartet and string orchestra (Soul Balance), Music for Choir and jazz quartet (Song of Praise), Jazz History, Jazz for Kids, Ballads, Coltrane Tribute etc.\n \nFor the upcoming program Chamber Jazz Peter Lehel is currently writing arrangements and compositions in the style and spirit of great classical composers like Béla Bartók, Zoltan Kodály, Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Sergei Rachmaninoff.\n \nThere are so far 9 CDs released by this busy and flexible jazz quartet:\n \n2012 Bone Talks\n2012 Song of Praise\n2009 Choro e Bossa Nova\n2007 Bolero\n2007 Soul Balance\n2004 Live at Birdland\n2003 Moods\n2000 Ballads\n1998 Heavy Rotation
