Scared to Death – thrash metal from southern Germany\n \nScared to Death plays dynamic and uncompromising thrash metal with melodic and power metal influences. Most of the songs are residing in the mid-tempo area and are enrooted in the golden 80s. Heavy guitars, impulsive drums and rough vocals will lash around the ears of the audience.\n \nThe triplet was born in January 2006. Grown up with the heavy music of the 80s and 90s, they have always been tightened and addicted to this metallian way of life. In former times these three men collected experience in hard rock cover bands. But that was not their mission in the long term. They wanted to have a band were they could play their own songs written with their own heartblood. So they formed Scared to Death were they could let their musical minds wander.\n \nHalf a year later, they released their first self made demo called "...your pain is my passion". This kind of debut was accepted quite good in the underground metalscene. Furthermore it was the key to the doors of concerts like the Walpurgis Metal days in Hauzenberg and the Metal Invasion in Passau.\n \nIn 2008 they signed with STF-Records. Their first longplayer is called "Deathstruction" and includes eleven tracks. It was recorded, mixed and mastered from April to June at the GerNa Studio in Bochum-Wattenscheid.\n \nAt the end of the year 2008, Scared to Death was for four weeks on european tour with Destruction and Debauchery. This D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. tour included thirteen countries.\n \nFrom 2008 till 2011, Scared to Death played on well known Festivals like Metalfest, Kaltenbach Open Air, Zabbaduschder, ...\n \nIn January 2012 Kevin "Evil" Fischer left the band. Felix Kauschinger joined the band to re-complete the thrash triplet. In the beginning of 2014 STD are about to release their second full-length album entitled "Fatal Destroyer"!\n \nScared To Death are:\nErnstKramheller (vocals, guitar) \nFelix Kauschinger (bass)\nStefan Bohmann (drums)
