Romina Mamo has hit the music scene with one aim in mind – To succeed in whatever she does. Armed with powerful vocals, technical skills, and the sharp mind of a seasoned mathematician she is a versatile artist who has managed to incorporate a fine blend of musical styles into her repertoire.\n \n \nAfter being selected to attend a music conference at the International House Sonnenberg in Germany, where she was also asked to give a solo concert, her career took flight.\n \n \nBack in Malta she made it to various prestigious festivals, such as The Malta Song For Europe, Festival Indipendenza, and The Malta International Hit Song (winning the public vote with the song “Primitive”. This won her the right to represent her country in Antalya where she performed a new track and Sertab’s hit “Here I Am” to a live orchestra.\n \n \nIn 2010 Romina won the Malta International Hit Song contest and went on to the Canary Islands to perform the track “The Final Kiss”, placing 2nd overall. A 3rd placing in the Discovery Festival in Bulgaria followed in 2011 with the song “Quicksand”.\n \n \nAnother 2nd place followed in Italy where she successfully performed the song “Il Gioco delle Onde”… and once back again to the La Vela D’Oro festival she clinched the top prizes again – with the best song “Senza Finzioni”, and a special award for Best Interpretation. To top it all Romina is also the title holder of the Pop Star Talent 2011 which she won recently in Italy. This gave her the opportunity to start working on new projects over there. \n \nNowadays her music becomes more flirtatious and somewhat provocative, influenced by genres ranging from Pop, Dance, Rock, all the way to classical.
