Russian music today has been immeasurably enriched by the dazzling opera mezzo-soprano Galina Sidorenko.\nThe singer’s repertoire, from the classics to new music and jazz, is equally as extensive as the geography of her appearances on stage ( Mariinsky Theatre, La Scala, Teatro Real, The Washington Opera, Norway Opera).\nGalina Sidorenko is a Prize Winner of The Coast of Hope(1998, Bulgaria) and The Queen Sonja Competition(2001, Norway), also she is a finalist in The 1999 Placido Domingo’s “ Operalia-99” in Puerto Rico( USA).\nIn 2002-2003 she was nominated to the prestigious Russian Premiums The Golden Masque and the Golden Sofit for the parts of Dorabella and Anna Karenina.\nIn 2006 Galina Sidorenko was awarded the title Honoured Artist of Russia.\nGalina Sidorenko is always a welcome guest at high society soirées and regularly takes part in television shows in addition to featuring in various magazines.\nShe may justifiably be referred to as a star of contemporary Russian opera and variété performances.
