Originally from the NYC Tri-state area, Doren is a seasoned performer and Doren_Bergeflexible sideman, having played with acts including NY Blues legend “Lil’ Cliff” Bernard, New England’s Wilder Road, The Kit Holliday Band and Bang Box. A catalog of original material has resulted in two solo releases for DTG Records, CDs “Doren“ (1994) and “Strange Parade“ (2000), both releases generating glowing national press. Doren also contributed guitar work to several tracks on the critically acclaimed “Willoughby” by Mike “Sport” Murphy (Kill Rock Stars Records). Doren first began playing with The Alligators in 1996 as a “guest gator” and has been performing regularly in the band since 2007. His fiery and energetic guitar style brings an exciting element to The Alligators’ live shows.
