Genre: Alternative \u002F Post-Rock \u002F Indie\n“This Social Coil” was created in spring 2011, founded in NRW - germany. \nIn June 2011, the first track, “Shining Target” was released. \nIt´s hard to describe the music direction exactly. \nIt´s something between Post-Rock, Indie and Alternative. \nAnyway very diverse. \nInstrumentals and Vocals. \nMainly based on string instruments, y, tube amps and miking of speakers. \nNo mainstream, no prog rock. \nThe influences are coming from post-rock, post punk and typical alternative sounds. \nLyrics often treat philosophically typical thoughts of the life.\nThere is much between the lines. \nNature and the elements are an important topic in music and lyrics again and again. \nThe overall sound is not synthetic. \nIn “This Social Coil” is a longer-term project, which is expected to develop slowly. \nThe first published tracks in 2011 are marked by soaring, melancholic melodies, which phases transform into a “Wall of Sound”. \nIn the future, certainly harder sounds are expected, but still outside the mainstream.
