简介:
Vital duo is a new Minimum vital side ProGject from the PAYSSAN twin brothers. Jean-Luc is a multi-instrumentalist that plays guitar (electric, classical, cittern, mandolin) as well as percussion, while brother Thierry plays a unique blend a keyboard format (electronic, classical and prog) with an obvious passion for their medieval musical heritage. However the band intend to work with various elements of classical progressive rock: baroque and ancient music, folk influences from various countries led by acoustic instruments. It's recommended only to those who like music from Middle Ages, beginning with GRYPHON's first and third albums or AMAZING BLONDEL.\nVITAL DUO's first album, called "Ex Tempore" (2001), is perhaps, really a vital album for the contemporary progressive scene. This album weaves a distinctive tapestry of sounds based around strong medieval inspiration and contemporary music. The music is a blend of dialogues between keyboards and guitars through incredibly pure melodies. There are some French vocals but this is predominately instrumental. "EX TEMPORE", a timeless music... and this title says it all. For fans of medieval music and fans of progressive rock. A MUST HAVE!!!
